2. NDP at Pride 2016

Every year New Democrats participate in Toronto Pride in a big way and this year will be no different. In fact, we need an ever bigger presence this year – with Justin Trudeau being the first PM to march in the parade, there will be a lot of extra focus on the Liberals. It’s great that a Prime Minister is participating in Pride, but we also want to make sure our NDP presence is vibrant and exciting, too!

CLICK HERE for a link to all of the events. There are still opportunities open to help out at the NDP’s own Pride Booth – great fun for a few hours and an amazing excuse to check out other PRIDE festivities! There is more information available at the ONDP’s LGBTQ Committee’s Facebook Page HERE. See you there!

3. Preliminary Notice of Annual General Meeting

A motion was passed unanimously at the May 24th Executive Meeting calling for an Annual General Meeting of the Scarborough Southwest NDP to be held on Saturday, October 1st, 2016. The start time and location are still TBA. Please save the date for this meeting – we are in the process of recruiting very interesting guest speakers and we look forward to seeing you!
